Swiftheart opened her mouth to reply but stopped once her apprentice sprang at movement. "Brillant catch!" she meowed, prasing her apprentice.

Spottedpaw dropped her prey and did a big little happy leap "really?" her amber eyes gleaming with excitement, "oh and who was your mentor i want to know!!"

Spottedpaw looked up at Swiftheart her pretty eyes round with curiosity "Swiftheart how..how did he die?" Spottedpaw asked looked at her mentor a bit unsure of whether is was a good idea or not to ask such a question.

Swiftheart was silent for a moment. "He died in a battle against ShadowClan," she meowed softly, her eyes dark for a moment as she remembered the battle. "The rift lasted for a couple moons but every Clan was tense during the time. I guess we were all thinking it was going to end in a war." Swiftheart added with shrug. "Come on, lets see if we can find anything else before we head back."

Spottedpaw chased after her mentor and she seemed oddly quiet, when the two returned to camp Dapplestar was staring at the Clan as she idly walked around checking up on everyone
