READ CAREFULLY! PASSWORD IS HIDDEN! MUST HAVE TO MAKE A CAT!
.//.:.General Site Rules.:.//.
[1] No chatspeak on posts (lol, brb, omg, etc.) You may only use them on the c-box or OOC. And please edit your posts. Try to use correct grammar and spelling, There is wonderful thing called 'Spell Check', Use it! (I know that we are human and make mistakes but if you see them on your own posts change them, please. I (Tawny) know I am a horrible speller. I make mistakes as we all do.)
[2] No immature, graphic, racist, sexist, otherwise prejudiced, or inappropriate content. This includes statements, images, and other expressions. None. Posting of any such content will result in a month-long ban without warning.
[3] Do not claim the work of others as your own. This is called stealing and is unacceptable. Claiming the work of others will result in a month-long ban without warning. Multiple infractions will result in a permanent ban.
[4] Please be polite. Respect other members, respect the staff, don't bash and flame people for no reason whatsoever. If you're having issues with another member, work them out politely over PM. If you can't work them out, contact a staff member, but do not bash/flame them publicly. Please do not respond to a provocative statement by arguing or insulting the person who made it. It only serves to encourage them. Instead, contact an admin.
[5] All swearing, cussing, and cursing is FORBIDDEN at all times. I will not tolerate it in posts or the c-box. If you use such language i will only give you ONE warning. If you do it again, i will ban you.
[6] Spamming and double-posting annoy everyone and get you nowhere. Please don't do it, we'll just delete the posts.
[7] Don't take IRL issues out on the poor innocent RPers on this site. I'm sure there'll be enough nice people out there willing to talk to you about it, but don't bite their heads off.
[8] One account per IP address unless you have specific permission from the admin. If you are discovered with more than one account, we will contact you and probably delete one of the accounts.
[9] Please let us know if you're going to be inactive for a long period of time so that we don't delete you. If you are accidentally deleted, we expect you to take the initiative and contact us rather than the other way around. We're not omniscient and there's no way we can know if we've made a mistake.
[10] Massive signatures and unreadable fonts annoy everybody. Please avoid them.
{R}oll {P}laying {R}ules
[1] No abbreviations of any sort IC.
[2] Replies have to be at least a paragraph. (6 sentences) They mustn't be very short sentences either!
[3] No godmoding, auto-hitting, or powerplaying.
~Godmoding - Your cat is invincible and can dodge everything.
~Auto-hitting - Hitting your opponent automatically in battle or otherwise. Give your opponent a chance to dodge. If he or she always dodges, that is known as
godmoding (see above)
~Power-playing - Controlling another person's character and saying they took actions they did not. It takes two people to RP. When you're RPing, you're not telling the whole story, only your character's half of it.
[4] Do not kill off any characters without the RPers' and an administrator's permission.
[5] Roleplaying must be third person and past tense. "He ran into the camp" not "I run into the camp." (though your biographies can be in 1st person, up to you)
[6] No graphic mating or births. Please, we don't want to read about it.
[7] Graphic violence must be kept to an absolute minimum. Some blood, some slashing, but really, a)the cats aren't really going to rp each other's guts out and b) it's flavorful, but it's strong. So, some blood, some slashing, but no more.
[8] Keep your language realistic. Cats are more likely to be "mousebrains" than "idiots" and more likely to say "mouse dung" or "fox dung" than "crap" or the S word. (You could say like, "The mousebrain idiots..."
[9] Keep your cats in character - apprentices don't know a ton, it isn't a warrior's place to publicly criticize the leader (unless he or she is looking for trouble), and a medicine cat isn't going to rip another cat's guts out.
[10] You may be in two places at once for ceremonies or Gatherings, but it is otherwise highly unencouraged
[11] Staff is Starclan! We send dreams to certain cats (mainly leaders and medicine cats). If there is a certain dream or vision that needs to be sent to your cat, please request it. No members other then staff may post as a cat in Starclan, UNLESS you had a cat that you rp, that went to join Starclan. (If you have a cat in StarClan and want a dream to be sent to one of your rp characters, send a note/message what you want to do. We will either accept it or decline it. If you keep sending notes/messages about getting dreams from StarClan when you are a warrior or apprentice, kit or queen, you will be declined. Don't spam us, please.)
.:.xCharacter Rulesx.:.
[1]Try to keep the names of your characters realistic, particularly forest cats. Artistic misspellings are not within the knowledge of forest cats - that is, loners, rogues, and clan cats. For kittypets, pretty much anything goes, but for forest cats, try to keep it to things they'd have knowledge of - tree names, animal species, seasons perhaps? Human objects and inventions are not so good (eclipse, lunar, chocolate, etc. I mean how would they know what those were?!)
[2] If you want to be a medicine cat apprentice, ask the Medicine cat of that Clan. Some of the medicine cats don't have apprentices. They give the permission if you are to be their apprentice. Not the staff. Please don't complain and whine to the staff.
[3]Character limit is 10 for now. This may be changed in the future. You must keep all your characters active, and an administrator will speak to you if he or she feels your character is inactive. Adopted characters of any level (kit, apprentice, warrior) count toward the total. However, staff that know they can keep their charries active, may have more.
[4] Your character cat must be one of the following:
Loner - A cat with no alliances. Born alone and will probably die alone. Most likely wouldn't want to join the clans. Has knowledge of StarClan. Belief depends on individual cat.
Rogue - A cat who has been banished from a clan for committing some crime. Often evil. Some still believe in StarClan. Generally will not join another clan or be accepted into one.
Kittypet - A cat raised by Twolegs (humans), essentially a pet cat. Kittypets have no knowledge of StarClan. Young kittypets (kit/apprentice age) may be accepted into clans, as they can still be trained. Older ones will most likely not be accepted.
Clan Cat- A cat who was born into the clans, either a kit, apprentice, warrior, or queen. Follows the Warrior Code and believes in Starclan.
[5]Kit names must end in 'kit' (unless out of clans)
Apprentice names must end in 'paw' (^same^)
Warriors names must combine the warrior's apprentice prefix with a suffix. If you are being promoted from apprentice to warrior, discuss the suffix with your leader. (again unless your cat is outside the clans)
[6]Story histories are really annoying. Keep your cat's history unique but realistic. Sure, their siblings may have died, but they probably didn't watch the love of their life get massacred by dogs or have their mother commit suicide in front of their faces.
[7]Consider your cat's Clan when writing your history. A ShadowClan cat is very likely to have his or her siblings or parents die of illness. Drowning is a more likely death for non-RiverClan cats than for RiverClan cats.
[8]Characters with super powers, invincibility, and etc. are NOT allowed. If a certain cat has some sort of powers, it will be because of a prophecy which will be prearranged. Otherwise it is not allowed. If you want a certain exception please talk to the owner. Doubt you're gonna get it. No Bi- sexual or gay or anything cats unless granted special permission.
Key letters are underlined. Put the letters together. Total # of words: 3 no spaces.
